Since 1995, Michelle has been combining her dual passions of marketing and technology to provide innovative solutions and exceptional strategies for every brand she’s consulted and worked with.
Michelle is a marketing technologist, programmer, web developer and is passionate about engaging more women in the fields of STEM. She entered technology and digital marketing in 1995, and has overseen all aspects of Third Door Media’s technology initiatives, marketing technology integrations, and web presences since its founding in 2006. Michelle built and leads the company’s information technology team, responsible for architecting the web sites for each of the 5 Third Door Media brands (Search Engine Land, Search Marketing Expo, MarTech, Marketing Land & Digital Marketing Depot). She works closely with all brand division executives to develop strategies to further TDM’s overall growth, mobile strategy, product strategy and to increase digital marketing services capabilities.
Prior to joining Third Door Media, while at the agency she founded in 1999, Michelle consulted with clients on web development and digital marketing, developing custom applications and implementing successful search and digital marketing initiatives for American Airlines, Honda Civic Tour, DMX Music, and more.

Actively mentors peers and students to foster career development and increase female participation in STEM fields via programs such as Glassbreakers, Million Women Mentors, and Girls Who Code Speaker at US and international search & digital marketing conferences
